SRF Update

The European Parliament published a press release announcing that lead members of the Parliament (MEPs) participated in an intergovernmental meeting on 9 January 2014 to discuss the dangers of the Member States’ position on the Single Resolution Fund (SRF) and to explain alternative models.

 

A letter to Parliament from the Council relating to SRF was also published alongside the press release.  The first meeting to negotiate an intergovernmental agreement specifying the channelling and gradual mutualisation of funds to the SRF was held on 9 January 2014.
